Fact 1: Bottlenose Dolphins have a spindle shaped body in order to be more agile if threatened by a predator and can more easily get away.
Fact 2: Bottlenose dolphins coloration helps camouflage in the waters when they come in contact with predators. The top of their body is a dark grey and the bottom of their body is a light grey or white color.
Fact 3: When a Bottlenose dolphin dives down, their heart rate slows down in order to conserve oxygen which leads them to need less frequent trips to the surface for air.
Fact 4: Bottlenose dolphins have elongated jaw which helps them get food such as: small fish, crabs, and squids.
Fact 5: Not only bottlenose dolphins, but all dolphins use echolocation to find the prey and to keep away from predators.
